It is with little surprise that we see the two new kids on the block get the ass for the big inclusions of Harly & Mooney as we gear up towards tomorrow nights clash. Disappointed? A little. Suprised? No.
Personally all signs pointed to Thurley with the amount of minutes he played last week, but he probably has the right to feel a little cut with Bombers decision. Same goes for Lonergan, who I was hoping would say instead of Charlie.
We're already stating that we're coming off a 6 day break so the excuses for losing are already getting pumped out despite the ball is 22 hours away from being bounced...so with that boost of morale, let's have a look at our opponents.
About a month ago The Pies were down & out. Favourites for the spoon, crippled with injures and you could actually hear the knives being sharpened behind Mick Malthouses back despite his shite excuses about where they are on his 'premiership clock'. How times change! They've won two in a row and dreams of priority picks are being squashed with hopes of mediocrity.
It's embarrassing to say that I've seen the Pies play live three times, never against Geelong. Especially considering I've seen us play every other opponent at least five times. So with that in mind I'm sure the Cats will lift for my debut and we will win a close one against a fast finishing Pies outfit.

Frozen Pies hey? Not the team I saw last night. Hotter than Hell is a more apt title.
They smashed us to pieces and I am surprised we didn't lose by more.
