You People Still Reading This Tripe?

Kinglsey Kingsley he's our man, if he can't do it No-one can. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Kingsley!

That is right folks, another game, and another Kent record. The weekends performance in which our mighty spearhead lead from the front he has become the first Geelong player to surpass 5 goals this season. Though I guess it was inevitable that it would happen at one stage or another during the season.

Random product placement number 56 -
'Hi I'm the Kolonel and whilst watching Kent play footy, nothing helps with the excitement more than Kleenex tissues'. Kleenex tissues, delicate and soft, just like Kent.

He has now kicked 5 goals or more 9 times and 4 goals or more 23 times in his career. He now has 42 goals for the season. Pretty hot stats. Still wanna drop him to the VFL? Probably. But that is why I write for Geelong blog and you sit in awe of me. Its called intelligence, good looks and Charisma of which you have none. You probably aren’t even wearing shoes. That’s right... you. I'm looking at you, all of you. Leave him alone!!! It's just ridiculous!!! ALL OF YOU!!!

Now I have taken care of formalities onto Saturdays game, this will be the one we shall call season defining. Last weeks didn’t go down too, well this went down like a cold beer on a hot day. The best cold beer isn’t Vic Bitter, its Stella. Why? If you're asking this you really need to stop drinking VB and buy a Stella. Oh, and of course Liam Gallagher drinks it.

The Cats were, sexual against a pretty much full strength Power side missing just Gavin Wankerneen and Dean Bogan as the only 2 remaining Premiership team players not on the ground I do believe. I'd love to be a journo in South Australia this week. Picture of Wazza looking dejected on the front page with 'Who Turned the lights out?' as the main heading then the subheading: 'Scott to Williams: I was right' At least the Kingsley, Harley and Breuer Fine China is back in possession of the Cats.

For those who watched the Sunday Footy Show on of all days Sunday, Paul Chapman summed up the Cats season pretty well. He also wore desert boots... Not a good look Chappy, but I guess because you are Chappy no one will argue. Anyways for those that were lying in your own pool of vomit after a hectic night before, or because you have some sort of disability regarding lying in your own pool of vomit I shall now actually tell you what Chappy said. 'We are in the same spot as last season, but this year has been a lot more of a rollercoaster' Pretty insightful Chappy. Just think, still to return into the side that massacred last years Premiers who came to Geelong in form and with a point to prove and a near full strength lineup, we get back Steve Johnson, Brad Ottens, Tom Harley, Brenton Sanderson and David Johnson. So next time we play the Power I'd expect us to win by around 150 points.

I shall start a new initiative this week, the 'Wool for the Chant guy appeal'. This guy is troppo. During the rain on Saturday he still wore his hoops and shorts. So raid your Mums and Nannas wool baskets for Navy blue or white wool and I shall knit the chant guy a nice beanie and scarf. That’s what his Mum should be doing instead of Chatting up the Saints players at the VFL. What’s Luke Ball got that I don’t anyway? Bigger ears and a disjointed nose are two possibilities.

I shall let you know how much wool we have and when the appeal raises 1kg of wool I'll commence knitting. We want the scarf to be long enough so he has the option of draping it around his neck or wrapping himself in it Mummification style. And the beanie will definitely have ear flaps. If you have some wool to donate for this great cause leave a comment below and I'll get in touch with you.

So, the big test now is whether we can topple the Bulldogs. I get very uneasy approaching games like this. We should win, hell we should annihilate them by 100 points. But with Geelong that doesn’t mean it will happen. Not by a long stretch of the imagination. But we will. In fact we will only lose at most one game for the rest of the season. You heard it here first. But I'm just guessing. If it happens I'll take credit for it though. I feel sorry flogging the Bulldogs because well, their supporters are poor and their team is just as poor.

Well until next week, if you see Kent give him a hug, if you see the Kolonel give him a kiss and a pat on the back. He deserves it.

The Kolonel.

Sorry to nitpick Sammy, but I would just like to point out that I didn't "surpass" 5 goals against Port - I "managed" five.

Don't worry though, this saturday, with Dog Johnson running around in the forward flank, the doggie defenders are going to be stretched too far to stop me surpassing 5 goals for the first time.
