Kent Kingsley Has Gone Mad

I awoke on Sunday morning with little more than a leopard print g-string on, a sore head, a moustache drawn on my face in what was hopefully vegemite and in a pool of vomit. Yet I didn’t know why. The last time I celebrated like that it was 1999.

After being shooed of my neighbours lawn, I stole a newspaper an innocent bum was using as his only source of warmth. His little tin shack and blankets were probably washed away in the severe day yesterday that *ahem* meant I could not attend the VFL…

To my amazement the paper was today’s. (It may have in fact been not a bum, but actually someone reading the paper on a park bench, I was hung-over and thus couldn’t remember) I turned to the sport section.

I TURNED TO THE SPORT SECTION, OH BOY DID I TURN TO THE SPORT SECTION. Sorry caps lock. I mean KENT KICKED 9?! HOLY TOLEDO! The great man kicked 9 and I was too hung-over to even remember. I will never drink a drop of ale again to ensure the next time he does it I shall relive every moment.

The point is, if he keeps up this form he is on track for a 196 goal season, surpassing even my weighty expectations of the great man. That’s an AFL/VFL record ladies and gents.

This day shall be commemorated with the remastering of the old war film ‘The Dirty Dozen’ It seems 3 didn’t get the chance to redeem their atrocities, and it will be now known as the ‘Nifty Nine KKK remastered edition’.

On a more serious note.. This seems to be the only hard piece of evidence I was actually at Saturday’s game

So at least I can say… ‘I was there’

I too was very excited about our Kent kicking a bucket load of goals that Saturday night. I can say I was there and I can remember every detail! :P Lets hope Kent can do it again during the "real" season.

I went to the game with the excitement of thinking Will Slade would play... WHY DID I GET MY HOPES UP SO HIGH!?!?!?! Of course he didn't play! He NEVER plays! I was upset... and still are. Atleast Kents efforts made the game well worthwhile to go to.

I was looking forward to your report of the VFL Sammy D. LOL Oh well... theres always next time. I'm glad to here you had such a great time at the footy. :)

GO CATTAS!
