I am really glad to hear he has escaped a long term injury, or career threatening. I was suprised and unaware at how serious the injury was originally.

With Otto gone and Hawkins showing he needs to play predominantly forward, I hope Vardy, West and Dawson can all have injury free seasons as the first season post-otto will always be the hardest.

Good work. I tend to remember standing in the outer at suburban grounds in the 80's, in the rain hoping Geelong would win the match, let alone make the finals and win a flag like we are seeing now. during this era, the '08 GF is the only time it felt like the old days and that pain has mended a great deal in 09 & 11. I honestly think we can be a strong club for many years and be in a position to compete for premierships every year and we can thank the headshed initially followed by this group of players for establishing an 'Excellence' attitude which should carry on with the new players coming through. One area we'll need lightning to strike twice with is being blessed enough to draft a batch of the current seniour variety from 2001 all over again. I can see Vardy, Motlop, Chrisso, Menzel & Duncan being that batch to carry this era for 3 or 4 years but they will need another touch of Stephen Wells magic to help them later. Either way, I agree, we can all die happy and content that our club has dominated like no other which some clubs can't say.

Hi! It's me Ginger the amazing cat. I think your article is great. Yes cats can use computers, I thought everyone knew cats like to play with a mouse. I am a little jealous that you have had such a great success. I hope someday I will be famous by being a YouTube star. Keep Up the good work. Bye for now and have a good day.

cracking read!

For some reason after reading that I'm feeling the nerves that I'll probably be feeling 30 seconds before the first bounce.

Stoked I'll be there to hopefully witness a classic grand final won by the mighty cats!

Pods is in trouble. During the regular season, such a deliberate bump to the head, where he lined the player up, ignored the ball (which was over 5 metres away), and jumped off the ground (one tippy toe of one foot remained touching) in order to make forceful contact to a player's head would earn a player 2 weeks. Given its finals, he might only get 1.

Should he not get suspended as any player would and as established by their own rules, the Match Review Panel would confirm themselves to be incompetent and/or corrupt.

Totally agree Winty. Also believe the older players are lifting 1) for the new coach and 2) for themselves and their mates. After last years disappointments they feel they have someting to prove.Go Cats!
