The Story So Far….

Geelong’s faith in Varcoe looks like being vindicated with the young forward developing into a regular member of a strong Cats outfit. Played 22 of a possible 25 games last season, missing three games because of shoulder problems, and continued to apply great forward pressure. His chasing and tackling is a feature of his game and his leg speed was vital in the second half of the Grand Final. Dished off the handball that set up Paul Chapman’s match-winning goal late in the game.

The Big Footy Geelong Board Sponsorship

Our forum has sponsored Travis ever since he was Drafted to Geelong from the Central Districts (SA) in 2005 and we have proudly watched this dynamic young man grow as an AFL player and person in general. Sponsorship provides the club with some financial assistance to help pay for expenses that Travis will endure playing our great game. It also gives sponsors a chance to meet him and other club players and some nice give aways provided by the club.

How Much Does It Cost?

Sponsoring a Premiership player isn’t cheap we expect it to be $2050 this year so we need as many people as we can to buy shares in him so we can raise the money needed. Due to Travis now being a Premiership player his cost to sponsor has increased by $500 on last year.

Shares cost $50 each

Here’s what you get for your money:

• One $50 share will also get you a 1 year BigFooty Gold Social Club Membership & you go into the drawer once for each prize draw.
• Two or more shares will get you a 1 year BigFooty Platinum Social Club Membership and your name will be entered into each prize drawer once per share.
• All people who have share/s will get a badge added to their BigFooty Account so they can proudly show off their support.
